Ok. So as EVERYONE knows, I want a large family! Kids are a huge passion of mine, whether it be my own or children in general. Here are some verses on children.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate." Psalms 127:3-5
"He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!" Psalms 113:9
See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:10
So why when I tell people I want kids so they ALWAYS say:
"I'll give you mine for a day and you will change your mind."
"Once you have one, you won't want that many."
"Good luck!"
God CLEARLY tells us how much of a blessing they are. It is so frustrating and discouraging to hear mothers talking this way about their children. Do not get me wrong! I do know that it is going to be challenging and one of the most difficult jobs there are, but to love, and encourage children to grow in and know Christ....What could be better than that? No one ever is encouraging and telling of the blessings of children. To hear women of God talking this way about children makes me so upset.
Ok I am done venting. I have been really discouraged this week! I know mom's love their kids, I just wish they would be more encouraging to younger women! =)

Beauty in the breakdown
It is finally SUMMER! Ah... Sunshine, tank-tops, shades, and lakes... All things that I love! I have been so ready for summer, I can hardly believe it is here! Well, for starters I did not get accepted into the Blinn nursing program. I found out this past Saturday and ever sine then have tried to block it out of my mind. Everyone says (and I know) that God has something so much better for me! I know this all too well, but doubt creeps in and I start to worry. It is funny, yesterday in my youth group we were talking about the power of prayer and trials that we will go through and I flipped to James 1:2-5. "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." I was finding it for my group, and almost had to chuckle with how much it applied to my life. I am learning to be at a place where I do not have to have a plan, but just riding along with the plan my Heavenly Father has for me.
On to a happier note, I am (other than school) so overjoyed and in love with life and my amazing Creator! I am experiencing new things and beauties with Him everyday! I am going to be the children's intern for Champion Fellowship and volunteering with Jr.High and High School! I am so pumped about serving and hopes the kids see Christ this summer and not me.
I am also still going to El Salvador, August 2-9, and am so excited about it! My mom went to El Salvador a few weeks ago and her stories made me want to leave right now! God is so faithful and amazing! His beauty is incomprehensible and I cannot wait to love on and share Christ's some orphans from El Salvador!
That's all that is new, I will be updating more!

The Lord has placed orphans and adoption on my heart and I am so blessed to have another opportunity to serve and show the Love of Christ to orphans in El Salvador. Christ calls us all to pray and care for orphans. I am raising money to be able to go in August!
James1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our Lord God is this...to help orphans.

"...the moon and the stars declare who You are.."

Can i just tell you how much, I love the Sr. Girls from the Woodlands. I was fortunate to do a DNOW this past weekend! I was so pumped and excited to go. I am so joyful and at such a peace in my relationship with the Lord, I wanted to help lead these girls, when I know they are all going through a strange time in their life. I can remember the semester before college and being so freaked out! Those girls blessed me more than they will ever know. Why is it when we go to pour into people, God pours 10x more into us?
SR GIRLS WERE BLUE!! CHECK OUT MY ZEBRA~ fierce i know!

Becca, Monica, Emma and Grace
Have I told you how much I love them? So cute girls!

After Edmund was the band for the weekend! They did such a great job!

Again I cannot even explain this joy that I have! I have difficult things going on in my life, but for once I have fallen FULLY into the arms of Christ! I have no doubt that my feet are planted ready for the trials of life. One of my favorite verses about trials is James 1:2-4 Consider it PURE JOY my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
2 Corinthians right now and 2 Cor. 4:7 says “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God not from us.”

Psalm 37:4
Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4
Let me first start off by saying HOW AMAZING IS OUR MAKER? Every day is so new and exciting. I love being here in College Station. I have learned so much about myself, life, and more importantly about my Daddy in Heaven. Right now I am going through things that are really making me fall solely at His feet alone, and not look to the comfort of others. It is so scary but peaceful at the same time!
Well, the time has come for me to take my nursing exam! I must say I had a few breakdowns while I was studying, but for the most part I am just taking it with the knowledge that it is not in my control. I will be taking it this coming Tuesday!!! Pray that my nerves are calmed and that I am able to recall the information!
Aside from studying my roommate and I decided that a camping trip was a definite need at this time! We went to Lake Somerville and had a BLAST! We fished with bacon=), went on little hikes, and just enjoyed our friendships! I am so lucky to have wonderful brother and sisters in Christ to have fun with. Here are a few pics of our trip!
