"...the moon and the stars declare who You are.."

Can i just tell you how much, I love the Sr. Girls from the Woodlands. I was fortunate to do a DNOW this past weekend! I was so pumped and excited to go. I am so joyful and at such a peace in my relationship with the Lord, I wanted to help lead these girls, when I know they are all going through a strange time in their life. I can remember the semester before college and being so freaked out! Those girls blessed me more than they will ever know. Why is it when we go to pour into people, God pours 10x more into us?

SR GIRLS WERE BLUE!! CHECK OUT MY ZEBRA~ fierce i know!
Becca, Monica, Emma and Grace
Have I told you how much I love them? So cute girls!
After Edmund was the band for the weekend! They did such a great job!

Again I cannot even explain this joy that I have! I have difficult things going on in my life, but for once I have fallen FULLY into the arms of Christ! I have no doubt that my feet are planted ready for the trials of life. One of my favorite verses about trials is James 1:2-4 Consider it PURE JOY my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

2 Corinthians right now and 2 Cor. 4:7 says “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all surpassing power is from God not from us.”

Psalm 37:4

Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalms 37:4

Let me first start off by saying HOW AMAZING IS OUR MAKER? Every day is so new and exciting. I love being here in College Station. I have learned so much about myself, life, and more importantly about my Daddy in Heaven. Right now I am going through things that are really making me fall solely at His feet alone, and not look to the comfort of others. It is so scary but peaceful at the same time!

Well, the time has come for me to take my nursing exam! I must say I had a few breakdowns while I was studying, but for the most part I am just taking it with the knowledge that it is not in my control. I will be taking it this coming Tuesday!!! Pray that my nerves are calmed and that I am able to recall the information!

Aside from studying my roommate and I decided that a camping trip was a definite need at this time! We went to Lake Somerville and had a BLAST! We fished with bacon=), went on little hikes, and just enjoyed our friendships! I am so lucky to have wonderful brother and sisters in Christ to have fun with. Here are a few pics of our trip!

We put the tents up at 9:30 that night! Cory and Abel

The SHaK: Sarah, Hannah and Kelsey. We dominated at Battle of the Sexes

Our Texas snowman, WILSON! Look at the beautiful day!

Our camp site right on the water~ site 124!!!

I love my friends

The "Man Chant" MEN MEN MEN.... boys will be boys

Ashlea, Cameron and Kayla came out Friday night!!

You cant look at this and tell me there is no God! The stars were 10000x more amazing than these! There were a ton! We layed out and watched them for hours at night!

I like school??

I can hardly believe it! I am actually enjoying this semester of school. (YES THAT DID JUST COME OUT Of MY MOUTH=)) I am not sure if it is my 3 hour pottery class on Mondays and Wednesdays or what, but it sure is a great way to pass the semester by.

Christmas break was so much fun. I was a lot of fun to be with my family for so long. I may have even over stayed my welcome for a little bit too long, but it is just because family is something I cherish so much!

Back to my awesome semester of school. I was absolutely dreading going back! My first day back was my Tuesday and Thursday class day. I have technical writing and medical terminology. For once in my lifetime I felt smart in a class. I knew most of the stuff my medical terminology teacher was saying!! It made me feel so good about my self, and those days of working in the hospital really did pay off. My Wednesday class was amazing! It was Ceramics! All we do is make stuff and paint it!! HOW AWESOME IS THAT! I think everyone in my class thought I was nuts when I kept saying "Can you believe this is a college class? This is so awesome."

God is really answering so many of my questions, doubts and fears. I always find going back to school leaves me feeling empty and alone. It seems there are so many people, but no one who truly understands how I feel. God is making me depend solely on Him and His guidence and wisdom.

1 Peter 4:11 says If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that IN ALL THINGS GOD MAY BE PRAISED THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

I am trying to lean only on Him, and not people around me. I want everything that I do and speak to be pleasing and edifying to my Father above. I am so thankful that He has given me this semester to enjoy the actual school part of college. I am so thankful and cannot tell you how much this is going to make my semester so much better! He has given me the opportunity to enjoy the moment that I am in, as well as cherish everything around me that He has created. My eyes are opening to see His beauties all around me.

Well, here goes to an amazing semester of school!!! lol (Wow this is a new concept for me)

(its really late.. excuse any gramatical errors.. thats what tech. writing is for... I am not supposed to be good until the class is over=)))
